Be Prepared and be ahead of the plane

Another great resource is FAASafety.gov. You can see what is new and you can be alerted to safety seminars in your area and dozens of other resources can be sent to you via email after you set up when you create your account.


One of things I have set up in my account is to receive the FAA Safety briefing magazine online, that comes out every two months. The July/August 2013 issue of FAA Safety Briefing focuses on airman preparedness. Articles explore procedures, techniques, and equipment that can help you stay ahead of the aviation safety curve and prepare for the unexpected.

The subject  of being prepared is one of my favorite.
