Why we practice Stalls (and recovery)

Practicing stalls, imminent or full and their recovery is often not every new students favorite thing to do. It can seem like a pointless excercise early in .the training. Soon you will see the point where you understand the whole picture and how , at key points in your flight, you can be starting to get slow and close to stall.

I just read the above article from Ian Twombly where he highlights the exact reasons practicing stalls will help you not approach a configuration that takes you close to stall.
