5 ways to help reduce the costs of learning how to fly

#3 Join AOPA

Wait a minute...this one actually costs money but only $19. I guarantee this is THE best $19 you can spend as a student pilot (it increases when you get your license). The resources for training, flight planning and keeping us with changes in General Aviation are seemingly endless.

Plus they have mentorship programs and a new-ish program that is more like a virtual mentor, keeps track of your progess and suggests supplemental training documents to study annnnnnnd you are put into a pool of other students for a drawing of $1000. I know someone that got it, so it works :)

Not sure about joining or want more info about learning how to fly. http://netbnr.net/loc.html?http://www.aopa.org/learntofly/index.html
