Memorial Day Flight with family

We took off from Palo Alto today around 11am and passed through San Francisco's B airspace enroute to o69 (Petaluma www.airnav.com/airports/O69 ). It was our intention to have lunch at 29er diner and head back home. Well, after a spectacular flight we found out that it was closed and headed back home.

It sounds like it was a failure but it was not! We had a great time as a family hanging out and flying. It is a dream, and something I appreciate every time and resolve to do it more. The use of plane was a very generous offer from a student/friend - thanks Doc! :)
